What is Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for relaxation that also promotes healing. It’s done through touch, (hands off or on). A warm and soothing energy flows from the hands of the reiki practitioner into the client, promoting relaxation and releasing tension. Reiki helps calm and center your body and mind and can align your heart with your values of kindness and compassion.
Blocked or stagnant energy can cause imbalances in the body. We are a physical body, but we are also a spiritual, emotional and mental body. The roots of imbalance are not always where the symptoms present, and the repercussions of trauma ripple throughout the body. Reiki works by balancing our energy centers and clearing our blockages so that the body can return to balance and self-healing can take place. Self-healing can only take place when our nervous system is balanced.
